To be fair it is an executive saloon, it's hardly going to come with an orange paint job, racing stripes and elephant ears is it?

I'm sure it's going to be a superbly competent car, but that just looks.....odd. Not keen on it at all, aesthetically at least. Cars like this should be about subtle elegance - that doesn't seem to pull it off

Just looks like another BMW to me - nothing special that sets it aside from the remainder of their range is evident in these pictures.

I like that. When my current lease is up I'll be buying used, but I think I'll probably end up in an E92 330d as the F10 will still be a little pricey

I like it, but I like my E61 too. I plan on holding on to the E61 for a couple of years (have had it 6 months) and can see myself sticking with the theme and getting one of these. Let someone else loose a bootload of cash on it first.

Like it and the interior is nice particularly in the dark colour scheme, but still prefer the XF.

Agree, e60 in M Sport form looks much nicer than this IMO

I'm holding back my opinion till i see one on the road, the aspect of those pictures looks wrong, the car apears to be squashed and long.

As an example; I was all set to hate the new Cayenne (based on the pictures) but after seeing a few knocking about they look quite nice.

Why is it that if anyone else had posted a picture of a computed generated car they would have been shot to pieces, yet Fox gets away with it?

But anyways, it looks like any other 5 series - ok to look at, nothing special

That looks very similar to my last one (M530 Touring). Looks like blandness is setting in. I'm not too excited by this and will reserve judgement until I see more.

do I also see paddle shifts?? and looks like they have finally sorted out their previously stupid paddle shifter setup, i.e. iirc put the shifters away to go down, and pull towards to go up.

What's wrong with that? Seems the logical way to shift on paddles, means you can up/down shift during fast corners etc?

yeh I kind of see the point of it, but surely it must get confusing??, anyway the new set up they have is the common set up most manufacturers have which imo is better.
