The point is he was sent a letter saying he did this, when he clearly did not, he was doing less than the speed limit, as there was a lorry infront anyway. Hopefully the photographic evidence will prove this. People like you need to learn to READ and find something called COMMON SENCE.

Look at the road in street view. If you were doing 115 down that hill you'd have to have the brakes off a boeing 747 to stop at the bottom.

I'm quite intrigued as to how you interpreted the opening post as it being anything other than mistake.

Why would he be expecting an apology if he had actually been bombing along at 115mph?

I think it's far more likely to be a mistake than not, it just seems rather too far fetched to me. While it may be possible to do 115mph in a transit, it's not easy (I know this having driven various vans, including 3 litre vans) and I doubt anyone is quite stupid enough to do it on their morning commute on a road they know well when they need to drive for a living.
