*** Steam Summer Sale - Selection of games upto 85% off ***

I suspect I know the answer to this, but is the Call of Duty Collection a bit of a steal at £22? Do the early games still hold up or do they look really dated now?

I've not played any of them and I really can't justify 22 sheets at the moment but you know...

get the thq pack instead if you haven't got it already much better value for money £240 worth of games for £26 (incl metro2033, dow2+exp, stalker cop, redfaction 1-3 and many more)

So Metro runs in windowed mode for me and I can't get it out of that even pressing alt enter and it blue screened twice earlier but is fine now :o

Just bought Assassins Creed 2, didnt realise us europeans could buy it on steam.

Yes, for some reason the new Ubi titles like AC2, PoP:TFS, Silent Hunter V all became available in this sale. Maybe the UK retail publishing deal has been terminated?

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but you can get both Serious Sam HD games for a staggering £5.50!

I've just seen that Serious Sam double pack has been added to the current deals today!
Although i already have the first, will i get the second as a gift?

No if you buy the double pack you will just get 2nd.

TBH that's worth £5.50 on its own, and a big saving over what it's been priced at.

Hence I bought it :D

Have spent over £400 so far in this sale...

Got a bad feeling some of the ones I've already purchased are gonna drop even further in the 24 hour sales. But the prices were great anyways so can't really complain, just stating as a cautionary word of advice to others.

Looking forward to seeing what other games I can grab in the daily deals, but my bank balance feels the opposite...

£400? Your'e mad! :)

Have spent £18 so far and mulling over another £24 worth sitting in my cart.

Some of them, I'm not sure if I am buying just because they are great prices or because I would genuinely like to play them.

And here I was trying to ween myself off pc gaming...

I'm not sure if I should go for the THQ pack and RE5. I want Metro 2033, and at £26.49 it sounds good to get all the extra games. Anyone played it though? Also, is RE5 worth it? I don't want to spend too much money early on in this sale! Hope some more good 24 hour offers pop up!
