It's only the Valve games you can gift, I think.

Especially when they are in the packs. One of the biggest downsides to Steam.
Found that out the hard way during the Christmas sale. Bought the Orange Box and l4d just before there was a big Valve sale (I think). Doubled up on a lot of games but could only gift hl2

L4D2 for sub £7 is a no brainer really.
At least my wallet is saved for a day. Slightly tempted by Star Wars but i won't get around to ever playing it i don't think.

Is The Force Unleashed worth a fiver? Or rather, is it worth the time it'll take to download 30GB (my average download rate is about 1.1 MB/s)?
Joy I bought l4d2 about 2 hours ago now its halved in price!
This is one thing I hate about downloading games. If i'd bought a retail copy of t'internet and it havled in price before i even recieved it then I could have just sent it back for a refund but you cant do that on steam!

Thats because SupCom, whether people preferred it to Total Annihilation or not, could at least agree it was the sucessor. SupCom2 is not SupCom. Maybe worth a shot as an RTS in its own right but not deserving of the SupCom title.

Here's a little tip that you might find helpful
Wait through the week to see what daily deals are, and if the games you want don't turn up on Daily's, then on the last day buy them on the "standard" sale price

No. It's not really a plot heavy game.
All you need to know is there are these zombies and you have to not get killed by them
Kinda brought it on yourself, buying anything on Steam while they are having one of their big sales on is a big no no, be that a valuable lesson
