It comes with DoW Gold edition, winter assault, soulstorm and dark crusade. The whole lot. I already had DoWII and still thought it was crazy good value. :D

Save it and copy into the Doom 3\d3xp folder as well.

(I'm assuming you are using the res above but edit to your needs and change the aspectRatio from 1 to 2 if it's 16:10 res you're using!)

Also note: when you start up doom, if you go into the graphics settings to see if it worked, it will always show 640x480 as the resolution if you are usign a custom resolution. But play the game and you'll see it is using the higher res.

Here's my autexec.cfg (you're better off saving changes here than in doomconfig, because if you change settings in the game it updates the doomconfig file and may erase your changes).

The videoram command is because doom 3 sometimes misdetects your video card's size - so it it's best to tell it how much ram your video card has.
 
I would suggest anyone not sure to give the Zeno Clash demo a shot. It's great stuff. It's not far from streets of rage in first person and 77/100 on metacritic for £2.81 isn't bad at all.

Also the introversion pack is shaping up to be great value and I've only played Darwinia so far!

Wow, I go away on holiday and miss a load of steam deals. Any stand out deals so far? Is there a way to see which ones I've already missed, the OP has since been updated?

Bad Company 2 for £3 was pretty good. The entire Ubisoft collection for a tenner and the Square Enix one £15 have been by far the best though.

Just purchased LFD2, hopefully worth the six sheets or so

I aint played CSS for an age but fancy picking it up again for the online multiplayer, which one is the best one to get on Steam?

lol - Steam single handedly brought the UK internet back bone to its knees for one weekend

I'm tempted by the THQ Pack now for DoW 2 and Metro, must .... log .... out !!!
 
Still got 25Gb to go on force unleashed. I think when that's done I'll have DL'd about 60Gb of games in the last few days! Thank god for Virgin 50Mb :D. Steam servers must be getting hammered :p
 
With the Hearts of Iron 3 DLC packs, do they give extra bonuses or are they just skins?

I've finally succumbed and put CoH in my basket (Valor + double pack as it works out cheaper anyway!) and now Hearts of Iron III...DLC or no DLC that is the question.

Heck while I'm at it, tropico 3! It won't go on sale this week...will it? :D

You could always just wait a few days for Tropico 3. It is bound to come on sale.
