*** Steam Summer Sale - Selection of games upto 85% off ***

Hardly any of these games have taken my fancy. Got monkey island pack and that was about it.

Maybe its because I have most of the decent games :D

If you can manage to download it in a day, sure. You can get it retail for £14.49, though, so it might be the better option in this particular case given that the Steam servers are probably being strangled. CoolShop (which is where it's being sold for the aforementioned price) also deliver incredibly fast in my experience.

Even still, it'd certainly be an excellent purchase at £17.99. Brilliant game.

Thanks. I'll probably buy it off steam for convenience sake (17.99) if as you say the game is brill and worth it at that still, look forward to it :)

Loved the first flat out, gonna get this ultimate one. Thats 1.70 they wouldn't have seen from me otherswise. They must make loads on these sales.

Does Mass Effect 2 have any DLCs on steam, or is there only 1 version of the game?

Basically asking will there be a game of the year announcement in a few weeks or months with lots more content?

Decided to go for Torchlight and Flatout, they both look pretty good and I've been wanting to play Torchlight for a while, although I bought the Gothic bundle the other day so I've got a ton of stuff to play through right now.

not bought anything on the list today (phew account taking a beating) but have 2 of the games.

Mass effect 2 i bought 2 weeks ago in the EA steam deal for the same price. I am about 30 hours through it, playing over thoroughly, and its getting really good don't think you can go wrong at this price!

I also own Torchlight, it's a sweet little rpg/dungeon game. Never got round to finishing it though keep getting distracted by other games.

Last of all, 'The Void'. Any good?

I heard good things about it via PCGamer and Rock Paper Shotgun. The only gripe most players had was the difficulty, but there's a fan made patch that lowers it to a 'normal' level. Seems like one of those hidden gems of a game that most people look over.

Just bought it myself and its going near the top of my gaming backlog, looking forward to giving it a go :).
