Just finished A-Levels at college, and consequently went out last night to celebrate... Also turned 18 last Friday, so ALSO went out to celebrate that...
Now got 3 months of nothing and going to the USA in 4 weeks, should be a good 2nd half of the year, with Kent University awaiting my presence
fantastic year so far. got engaged and wedding in November. hugely busy with work and a lot more money coming in, been having an accountant sort my cash out for first time and unless I misunderstand the letter they sent me this morning I may be 20k better off than I thought I was! so wedding expense nailed!
Passed my motorbike test in feb, and yesturday i had the best bike ride i ever had, which really has boosted my confidence on the bike. Also went to download festival.
Hopefully going back to college in september (awaiting my interview) to learn plumbing.
So we are half way through the year already? How's your year going so far?
Mines been busy and it's flown by. You spend all year looking forward to your holiday and you wonder where it all went. Still got loads look forward 2nd half.
At the moment, rubbish.
Up all night with terrible back pain. Barely done anything at work today because I can't lift anything, I'm on a possibly unsafe dose of codeine and it's just taking the edge off.
I should probably go back to the doctors and tell him it's getting worse but I don't like bothering my doctor.
It's the same as any other year, good days and bad days.
It's been a pretty deacent year so far (touches wood), although it has flown in and has had it's moments. I really don't know where the time has gone. After my finals in January I had a lovely winter sun holiday for a week with the missus. Then after that I started a 9 week teaching practice after which I had a month to complete my dissertation amongst other assignments for uni which was somewhat stressful! During all this we bought a house and once I finished uni we went away for a week at the start of June.
No more holidays to look forward to but we get our house tomorrow, I graduate from uni next week and we've to start planning our wedding for next September! All that is needed now is a full-time job for me.
Pretty good, passed all of semester 2 of first year uni (Have to do a resit for 1 of semester 1 in august D=), started driving lessons, In the best physical shape ever and T in the park next week
This year looks set to be great for my career. I've been head-hunted and my interviews went really well, just waiting for the job offer to come through in the next few days.
Wedding planning is going well - most of the important things are booked.
