Question: PC Build - Help - Advice

I'd recommend upping the Graphics to this for an extra £77:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-236-SP&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1502

It has 2GB unlike the £319.99 1GB, and the RAM to the Corsair dominator, the best RAM out there and it looks like this:

Sapphire build materials/quality is not as high as XFX's which is why I opted for that card.

Also that RAM is not in corsairs list as begin compatible with that motherboard.

it's the looks, in my opinion, obviously your not buying a case that looks horrible in your opinion, but there a lot better cases around the same value which are just the little bit extra quality

That cosmos case is stunning.

Personally, would have went for the amd six core cpu and one samsung ecogreen f2 1.5tb.

Also, you can't use a 24" screen with this, you are so restricted.

Time to upgrade to a 40" + plasma/lcd :D

Hi,

I've just got my new PC today which consists of a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 and OCZ Vertex 2.

This issue is the SSD Vertex 2 is not being detected in the Gigabyte EX58-UD5 bios. I can't see it and so I can't install Windows 7 on my new drive.

What do I need to do in order to get the drive working.

Are there specific settings in the bios I need to set or drivers I need to load during the Windows 7 installation.

I plugged it into my old PC and it was detected right away so the drive is fine :/

Please help, Cheers.

EL
