Why they insist on putting wood in modern, hi-tech styled cars is beyond me.
Because it's by far the best material for styling an interior. I wish they'd get rid of annoying silver.

Because most people like it, including me![]()
I prefer the wood as well, I have the silver in my E60 at the moment, I keep looking out on ebay for a decent wood set.
That B5 looks a hundred times nicer than this M-sport.
so do I, bagsy me first![]()
its also around 30K more expensive![]()
There's a set on the bay now, it's been there for a while but it has some scratches and also a hole in the rear armrest bit for the AUX IN which I don't have as i have the USB/iPod adapter which puts the AUX connector into the glove box.
So you bagsy those, I'll wait until the next set comes up - hopefully that black/grey wood.![]()

The only nice wood they do is the Piano black. Much rather have silver, carbon or the piano black than any of the wooden ones
I really like wood in the right place.
Good job many people disagree with you then, and spec cars with the nicer brown woods. First thing i will do when buying a car with carbon or silver would be to try and source some wood trim to replace it with.
Fortunatly a lot agree which let's me buy all black cars as well
