I imagined that as a member of the emergency services you would hold some respect for the police, after all you are likely to be working alongside them through your fire brigade duties.

Don't think your Station Commander would be impressed with your antics and attitude.

Quite.

there is a thread on this forum called police applications and you calling them pigs.

lol not a bright idea

Hardly relevant.

hmmm you would have thought that yes, not always the case tho ;).

You seriously think it matters if someone you don't know, and never will belittles you? "Whatever, bye." situation gone.

He wants to fight? Push him away, and keep pushing him away until the bouncers remove him.

.

lol, what planet are you from?

saying "Whatever, bye" is a sign of weakness to drunken thugs, and will probbley get you a punch in the face.

Pushing him away constantly is the worse thing that you can do, as it will agitate him.

one thing that people are forgetting to remember that drunken people dont think, and there VERY hard to convince.

Sounds like you have never been in a situation like this before, like the rest of the middle class on this thread.

I suppose that's not surprising at the end of the day, you would think that people in this type of profession would be a bit more civil considering the nature of the job, I guess that's a mistake a lot of people make though, presuming that just because someone does a noble job it that it might mean they themselves are noble in character...

lol...

If someones giving me grief like that theres going to be a point where they absolutely are gonna get knocked down... the rest of you posting in here can get down off your high horses.

Raw deal with the cops tho, sounds like they were tripping on their position, tho I can understand them wanting to split things up to prevent further trouble...

Were you in a pub last night pushing a bloke?

Wierd night last night myself, good and bad things happened.

Bad. Got headbutted now have broken nose.
Good. New shoes

;)

They probably have kept you in if they could get a fine out of you. They are just extra tax collectors now !

Or alternatively the police could be investigating other crime if they didn't have to deal with people that couldn't handle their ale?

There was a police officer shot last night, was he collecting tax?

Edit:
No wait, I have a better idea, head but him, get him on the floor and start laying into him. Yea, that's totally justified in my eyes, I don't care about the pigs, I'm actually above the law, I'm a fireman.

[/Platinum87]

Thats not what i do, remove all violence and alphaness from what you think i am/act like and just replace it with evil.

In this exact example i would get him on the floor somehow, and then see if he decides to get back up and attack me. Keeping in mind there is a chance the police will arrive and making sure my actions are that of defence. Insult the crap out of him, then remain as calm as terminator, hopefully bouncers/police will see this insane guy shouting etc and you just calm, controlled and very polite.

ahhhhh i love OcUK. So many high horses in this thread it should be labelled a stable.

OP i feel for you buddy, as housey more elegantly put it some people just need a whack as walking away will sometimes land you in more trouble than if you hit him in the first place. Not sure i would have beaten him up when he was down as i imagine the headbutt will have stopped him in his tracks but i guess that one was the beer. Oh well next time you'll learn not to post about your drunken nights out on here.

awww you poor misunderstood soul.... oh wait you replace it with evil????? hahahahaha.

Sensible up to here.

There's the ole platinum87.

I read Platinum's and couldn't decide if it was serious?

Also, like some in here, surprised at the OP's lack of respect for police - I'm assuming there's some sort of history we don't know about tbh.

Good 'ol Torbados, shameful behaviour from a local, usually the grockles getting up to mischief like this.
