What's your Top 5?

System Shock 2
Fallout 1/2
Half Life
Planescape Torment
Deus Ex

In no particular order and on the basis that they are the only games I've ever played through more than once

BF2 - No other game has kept me interested for as long or for so many hours, I still think it's the best online FPS bar none by a country mile.

HL2 - Just unbelievably good as a single player game, No other single player game connects with me during play, Being chased across the roofs by those Alien beastys is the Best single player experience I've ever had.

CS & CSS - Just because of how good it was back in the day, A Leader in FPS & only left behind because BF2 took over.

Populous - The first PC game that took beyond real life & into a Virtual reality of my very own.

Richard Burns Rally - Because so far this is the closest you can get to racing a motor on the PC.

1. Deus Ex - I still wonder if it will ever be surpassed for sheer depth, plot, and atmosphere
2. System Shock 2 - I'd say the same about this if Deus Ex wasn't just a bit better
3. Counter-Strike 1.2 - I stopped playing during 1.3 and was dwindling by this stage, but no other game sucked up so much of my time over such a long period.
4. Civilization II - Civ III was a let down. IV was good again, but II at the time it came out just blew me away and had me hooked.
5. Baldurs Gate II - I love my RPGs, and this is the best pure RPG of them all IMO.

Just realised I missed out Portal from the list, that's definitely up there. No cake for me then :(

Broken Sword
World of Warcraft
Team Fortress Classic
Counter Strike
Pro Evo Soccer (FIFA would be here but it's only just recently overtaken it :))

PC only:

Quakeworld
Deus Ex GOTY
Fallout 3 GOTY
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Difficult to leave out Football Manager, Call of Duty and Civilisation series.
If I included consoles I doubt I would change anything although Fifa 10 on PS3 is a damn fine game.

In no order and certainly not in amount of time played -

Syndicate
Civilisation 1/2
DAOC
Quake 2
Tribes 2

Honourable mentions go to - Vampire: The masquerade, Grim Fandango, Grid, Stalker and the Total War Series (except Empire :P )

This guy has class, shout out for all bullfrog and classic lucas arts games!

No order:

Age of Empires 1
Age of Empires 2
Monkey Island
Medal of Honour: Allied Assualt
Red Alert

Personally, I think that was when games were good. I have never spent as long on any modern title as much as these ones. I love Half Life 2 but I cant name it as my top 5 as for me it isnt what made me begin playing games, and now design them.

Baldur's Gate (1 + TotSC, 2, ToB... it's all one long game really, especially if you use Tutu mod)
Planescape Torment
Fallout 1/2
Deus Ex
Mafia

Sadly leaving out Stalker games, Vampire: The Masquerade bloodlines, Star Wars: KOTOR, Thief games, Dungeon Keeper 2, Half Life 1/2, Portal, Counter Strike (from ~1.1 up to Source), C&C Tiberian Sun/Firestorm (online), Max Payne 1/2, Mass Effect 1/2, The Witcher EE, Dragon Age: Origins, TES Morrowind and (to a slightly lesser extent) Oblivion, Fallout 3, Bioshock, Football Manager series (and Championship Manager before the split)... and whatever else I have forgotten

Also for some reason I've never gotten around to playing System Shock 2, but from other people's comments and the type of games I like, I think I really should!

1.) Starcraft + Broodwar
2.) Counter-Strike/Source
3.) Mafia
4.) Thief (entire series :P)
5.) Heroes of Newerth (I've played over 1000 games so far)
