Hey,

Was just looking through some of the threads here about old and classic games and remembered a game I used to play on demo quite some time ago (those good ol PC Gamer mags) and never got round to getting the proper game.

You basically had a birds eye view and was a platform type game. You were a mech robot and basically destroyed everything in your path, but you had the ability to possess other mech type droids if you didn't destroy them completely.

Ive got a week off work and fancy playing some old classic games! :p
 
Was Paradroid on the PC? I remember it on the C64 but not on PC. Though from the description it definitely sounds it.

Sounds like "Machine Hunter" on the PS1, though I'm not sure if that ever came out for the PC.

EDIT: Just checked and it was indeed released for Win95. I'm pretty sure it's the game you're thinking of.

There was a similar game called Metal Fatigue I played as a demo. Though that was a lot more like Sup Com than enything else.
 

really does sound like paradroid 90 - awesome game

cant find anything that similar pc style :(
