Anyone know if there is a side panel with a window available for this case?
Or if they sell the case with the windowed side panel allready installed?

as far as i know, they come without a window. there is a newer model http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=162&products_id=24177 but i am not sure if they sell the windows seperate or if it will fit your case.
you can buy a window kit and cut it out your self. its easier and cheaper
look here on how to do it yourself.

Check out my Build Log and we discuss the Pros Vs Cons of getting a window. I decidied against modding mine in case I botch it and can't get a spare. Though if you do get a spare and mod that let me know how to do it.

I also know of one "Custom PC" shop which will install a window into your own side panel and send it back to you - including for the Antec Mini P180. ;)

I'm considering finding a trashed P180/P182 side panel to mod and put a window in for my case, now I've got lots of nice flashy kit in there. I have the P182SE. You can buy them new, but it's not that cheap and seems like a waste to ruin a perfectly good one!

Thanks for the help, i have looked at your build log before. Couple questions about the case.
How quiet/cool does it run?
How many fans can you have?
Could you put a fan controller on the front or would the door not close properly?

1) Mine is pretty much silent and I would highly recommend getting some Sharkoon Silent Eagle 120mm fans like me. I got the 2000rpm version because i can control it with my fan controller. Also nice and cool the other I had 28c at the front fans so thats the intake and exhaust at the back was 30c. It was a hot day indeed. :o

2) Case fans - I have 3 Silent eagle 120mm and the big 200mm fan on top as well as another silent eagle for the cpu cooler. These are the fans/devices which have fans. Case=4, CPU Cooler=1, Graphics card=1, PSU=1 so I have 7 in total.

3) My fan controller fits perfectly fine with plenty of space between the door and the fan controller knobs. I have a Scythe Kaze Master but I believe the Kama Meter and the Akasa Fan Controller also fit just as well.

Definitely one of the best cases I have had.

 ;)

cheers for all the info, i'm looking at doing my 1st ever build, so just doing some research. But i love that case and a couple build logs, yours and some one else has inspired me to go with it. If i put 2 fans in the front will i still be able to fit a fan controller, disk drive and hard drive?

Exactly what I have.

Fan Controller in the top because it can be quite a bit tight for a dvd drive as it it can come to close to the 200mm fan casing.

Samsung DVD drive in the top second slot and then below a hard drive mounted using a converter/hdd silencer that I got from ******s a few years ago. Works great and I honestly can't hear the PC now - only air! ;)

that case only fits the mini motherboards doesn't it? (sorry i don't know the technical name:o)

so where exactly are the drives/fan controller located?

Micro Atx motherboards only but to be honest you can get great MATX boards now so its not really an issue and there isn't any drop in speed because of it's form factor when compared with a full ATX motherboard.

Behind the Apple logo/pad that I put in is the cables from the PSU and you can see on the bottom chamber on the right is where there is room for two 5.25 drives.

As for the silencers google this and its the third one down. ;)

Cracking case the mini-180, you can pack a lot of power into one.

Love mine to bits.
