Boring Car Update...

At least the things in his sig can (probably) be legally driven on UK roads, unlike the Mondeo as pictured above.

Ouch, that cuts deep. ;)

As previously stated, they will be removed when I can find out the correct way to do it, I don't fancy ripping them out and leaving a huge mess behind! If you would like to carry on dwelling on them though please feel free :)

It looks great, best mondeo Ive seen in a long long time!
Also, wtf is he on about with the "Barry" thing? its pretty much standard bar the tints (which do suit, Id leave them on as long as possible :p)

And congratz, you'll have your hands full for a while!

Ok, got some pictures of it now, not the best as i haven't been out anywhere to find a nice location, so the driveway will have to do :)

I don't ever recall seeing a Corolla AE86 in mcdonalds car park.

I don't particularly care about the fact that irrational scene tax means you don't see that particular car, but it's a modified hatchback. Plenty of barryColts around, mind.

Nothing wrong with that if that floats your boat but to then brand a Mondeo with slightly iffy tints as 'barry' is a bit like throwing rocks from inside your glass house.

Looks nice that Phil. Gotta say, I do like the Mondeo when fitted with the Zetec-S wheels.

In the first picture, the tints look very very dark but the other pictures look ok. I would have gone for the same light smoke all round though. Not really a fan of mismatched tints.

When i had them fitted, i asked for a light smoke shade all the way through.

He said he would fit the factory standard on the rear, and the cars i've seen look very light indeed, so i said go ahead and do that. The rears are actually more like dark smoke, which has made the fronts look even darker. Coupled with a black interior, they look a lot worse than they actually are from certain angles (highlighed, as you say by the different pictures).

Rear Spoiler now its stuck down properly and facelift rear lights...

Looking great :)

Can't help but think it looks too low though :( Might be worth looking to see if you can swap for the ST springs??

love the subtle modifications mate. Ignore the haters. Retrofitting stuf from higher or newer models is by far the best way to keep your car looking fresh and OEM at the same time.

You fail on the barry front. No spinners, no M power badges, no bodykits, what kind of half assed barryboy are you ? :D

I love how the high spec mk3 Mondys and ST220s look... I keep glancing back at mine after I've parked it and walked away cos I absolutely love the design and how it looks... How sad is that :(

Yours looks very tasteful, although it runs on the wrong fuel ;) And it's a little bit low at the back for my tastes :(

Wouldn't really call it high spec, Howard.. It's pretty much as other Mondeos spec wise, jus the body kit really that makes the Zetec-S 'special, :)

I personally don't think it's too low, the rear sits REALLY high as standard, once the front was lowered (50mm ish) the rear was lowered to try and make the car sit level rather than nose heavy, although I can understand where your comment comes from, it's not very often you see Mondeo's lowered IMHO!

I'd love some ST Recaro leather :)

Howard - was originally in the Market for a ST220, had around £6k to spend but decided to reduce the budget by £2000 and go for a ZS instead, so far been very happy with the car, much nicer than my MK2 ST24 :D

looks 100% better with the added bits, it is a very nice looking car.

My ST24 went to scrap after failing badly so went for a punto grande sporting. Can't get over the quality of car compared to the st.

Need to get another car soon, was really wanting a 2 seater however I do miiss the size of the mondeo, these are fairly high on my list for a cheap car :)
