Manhunt in Northumbria on BBC

30 seconds of listening to that and he definately would have offed himself.

:)

Imagine what that would be like. You're lying there looking at worms and dirt, thinking of blowing your head off, and you look up to see Gazza staggering towards you with a 9ft Shimano fly-rod in one hand and a 12-pack of Newcastle Brown in the other. What a mind****! :D

Ok, but no shots were fired by police, so who exactly sniped him?

SAS, Military and SOCA

Police have refused to confirm reports that SAS officers have joined the search, although they have confirmed that the military, and Serious and Organised Crime Agency, has been approached for advice.

Nothumbria police are refusing to confirm or deny the Mail's report that the SAS has joined the hunt.

Lets face it, the amount of blacked out vehicles floating round it wouldnt have been that hard to hide an arrival of such a team.

The BBC are a ******* joke! They are showing 'The Record Review' right now? WTF kind of news channel are they? Been playing second fiddle with this story all night long.

ok so we have derek bird , raoul moat who's next and how long will it take to change gun law.

Havnt checked but was the shotgun licenced to him? if not then It will probably have more of an impact of tracking guns in the UK, better security and much better background checks.

My shotgun certificate I had the police checks apon cabinet installation, then thats it, they "may" see you once within the 5 years, but apart from that they will leave you alone until you renew, this needs to be changed IMO, 5 years is far to big a gap for a licence holder to be checked to see if they are still suitable to hold a shotgun

It's just crazy to think what state of mind you have to be in to have the guts to pull the trigger of a sawn off shotgun on yourself.

Yer, having just come out of jail of course he didn't hold a licensed firearm :)

The BBC are a waste of tax payers money.. look at them! They have no one on the ground! No coverage.. christ even I knew it was going to all take place tonight. BBC news are instead broadcasting the Russian spy story from 14 hours ago and every other low profile news event that has taken place today.

A disgrace you are BBC **** off.
