Which retro game had the best music?

Great great music in this thread, some real good taste.

As for me it has to be anything by a guy called Rob Hubbard back in the Commodore 64 era. It still amazes me to this day the sound this guy could ring out the C64's SID chip.
Probably not many on here that will remember him but those that do will be nodding their head in agreement.

Rob Hubbard did a lot of the Road Rash music too :)

I have to agree there was some really great games and music on c64 a very underated machine if you ask me:) I know rob hubberard did the music for a lot of the games.

I would have to say one of the Dizzy Games but I can't recall which one it was :) (it was one on the C64)

Don't know if it counts as retro but I LOVED the music on 'ROLLCAGE' on PS1 - And best part was it could be read by my CD player! Had it on at the odd party! lol
