Unbranded 5870

I have found a unbranded 5870 being sold else where.

Lets put it this way, if there was a 5870 called Overclockers 5870... with only one year warranty, all specs of the card look stock, would there be any reason to be a bit sceptical?

It should perform like any other stock 5870?

I think i know where you might be looking since i've been browsing for 5850's and 70's aswel and found a few unbranded ones similiar to the OCUK ones. I think from what i've heard they are just normal 5870's that have had the stickers removed etc but they could be any make... i.e. Sparkle or inno3D which are usually the cheaper makes. Doesn't mean the quality is lower though, you'll just have to chance it with what you get when you buy one and hope its one of the better brands.

If it's a reputable store it's probably just a value card from Palit or another brand.

OcUK value cards just means that OcUK could send you a card of any brand of their choice.

Ok they'v got the newly reduced 5870 but.... Iv found it cheaper else where

Ain't cheaper when you factor in zero postage (for me at least) with OCUK.
