Best Gaming Mouse Under A £40 Budget

i just got a logitech mx518 to replace my microsoft habu since it kept double clicking and im pretty impressed even know i only got it today and its only £21.98 now :P
 
Sort by rating wouldn't be bad, but most stuff is at around 4+ stars anyway, so I'm not sure how much it would really help.
 
intelli v3 is marginally better than a 518 but both are very good. if you're not an fps gamer any 5 quid mouse will do, really.

True, but at only £20 I would still have the MX518, better build quality, bigger and good shape for using for long periods of time, more responsive and the two extra buttons come in handy for things like browsing (they default for forward and back on internet browsers the second it is plugged in anyway)
 
I was looking at picking up a MX518 for light gaming.

I'm also looking for a keyboard. Save starting another thread that'll probably already have been started numerous times before (this thread looks to be resolved anyway). Can anyone suggest a decent Keyboard with media keys for around £30?

This is why I said it would be a good idea to have an FAQ sticky. It's like on the Forza Motorsport 3 forums, not a single day goes by without at least one "what are unicorn cars?" thread.

I would recommend the Logitech G11, got macros as well, if you need more than what the media keys offer.

Aye, what on Earth are unicorn cars?

I bought an MX518 the other day after trying to pick a 2nd hand gaming mouse up from the MM. Gaming mice are apparently gold dust!
Looks good, should arrive tomorrow. Good price too.
