What brand of glasses do you wear?

Eh, why does it matter?

It's just like being in Primary school when you weren't 'cool' if you didn't wear Adidas bottoms or have Nike trainers.

For the record, I have some normal, fashionable black glasses. I'm due to buy a new pair soon, but I'm far more concerned about the pair suiting me as opposed to who made them or how much more I paid for the convenience.

Mine are not a specfic brand just ordinary thin frame and have specially designed lenses so as to make my eyes appear clearer through them and more visable ... cost about £100, not really botherd about designer makes if they look nice and I can see that's good enough. I wear contacts more often than not now to for when I want that " im not making it obvious I have a sight problem " look.

You weren't cool as a kid were you?

Aww... there, there *pats Nix on head*

No, I was the kid with hi-tech trainers because my mum and dad couldn't afford anything better.

And please don't condescend to me, you haven't earnt that right.

Status anxiety truly is pathetic in how it makes people behave.

Seriously answer me this: why does anyone need to have a brand over a non-brand other than to try an elevate themselves above the person next to them?

Aww :( how do I earn that right ? :p

Oh and I wasn't cool as kid either... and still aren't for that matter :D

I do agree though...
That is the only reason really...
My glasses look fine on me and they were cheap, I've never had a branded pair of glasses... If they look fine and do their job what's the problem?

I only made this thread out of curiosity, not as a fashion statement. I didn't even know the glasses I finally liked were nikes until I was about to buy them.

I only have sunglasses, I just use thme for driving, generic 10 quid things from Next.

Can't understand people who wear fakes, no UV protection etc!

Polo Ralph Lauren :)

Will sort pics in a bit if I can be bothered!

Had to get the most extreme lens thinning Vision Express do, joys of being -5.25 in both eyes. I'd have jam jars otherwise, now the lens doesn't even extrude from the frame. Win

Cost an absolute bomb though, £260 with about £80 discount :\, for the frame + lens'.

Count yourself lucky, I'm -10 and -9.50.
