5830 price drop

All ATI need to do to prevent losing sales to nvidia is drop the 5850 to £180. One note short of the release price. Or, if they want to storm the market then drop it to £150 and be the only choice.
 
Dropping to 150 ain't gona happen.180 I could see, any less and they'd have the entire market pretty much sown up till NVIDIA really do something special...cough.
 
Wonder if this price drop will show in the UK. I'm seriously thinking about getting another 5830 in the future, but it'll be a while yet. Maybe in 6-9 months they'll be down to £120. :p

I can hope...
 
They launched the 5850 at £200, if you'd have told AMD then that in 10 months time they'd have to drop it to £180 they would have bitten your hand off.
