Hey I just joined the forum, just reading a few threads and seems a great place to hangout , Im from stoke , 15 and love drumming and computers :) , just wondering if theres any drummers on here, if so post your drum kit specs :D

I used to be, packed up about a year ago, Stagg kit w/ double bass/ Paiste Cymbols/ Extra floortom etcetc.. :D

I had to go electric but still wanted a proper kit (not one of these "rockband" things) so I got this custom made at Jobeky Drums

Welcome to the forums, good to have musicians on here - make sure you familiarise yourself with the FAQ :)

Check out the gear thread as suggested, all of us have posted our kit setups in there at some stage or another.

I have a Tama Superstar Deluxe Edition with a Sabian HX cymbal set and a Sabian B8 Crash, a Roland TD3 Electric kit and an Iron Cobra Double Kick. Haven't played for a couple of months now actually.

I've got a Roland TD-4K with a few upgrades...

Going to be upgrading to the TD-9K in the next couple of months I think :D

I'm a drummer, have been playing for 14 years odd now, Use to teach drums and few years back prior to Uni, but now i rarely find the time to play :(

Not long sold my Roland V Drums as I went back to acoustic after joing a blues / rock band.

Currently have a Ludwig Maple Classic 4 piece with Pearl Firecracker snare with a mish mash of Zildjian / Meinl cymbals.

Electronic drums have to have the right PA gig wise or else they sound cack. With the proper wire up they sound awesome.

I play in a 3 piece and songs we do include ....

Broken Stones.
Don't Believe a Word.
Dimming of the Day.
Texas Flood.
Red House.
Little Wing.

Also, if the crowd is hammered enough, Whole Lotta Love by Led Zep goes on full tilt.

602 RIDE £20 !!!!! :O , I wish I was older and had a job , DW drumkit with a mix of K Customs and A customs would be bliss :P

Welcome!
Yamaha dtxplorer set here which I really think I've outgrown. I keep looking longingly at the roland td9-kx - trouble is that the OH would notice that they look different ;)

Including the trippy middle bit? :D

 If it's in good nick, that's possibly the bargain of the century! I sold my drum kit a couple of months ago as I'm saving up for an electric one, and I had someone offer me a price I couldn't turn down - miss it now! (I've played drums for 17 years, this is the first time I've not had one at home) I had a 6-piece Gretsch Catalina Birch with a Pearl Masters Snare, and a large assortment of Paiste 2002/Signature cymbals. I love the 2002 cymbals, fantastic sound :)

Yeah I'm one, used to be in a punk/metal band and took a break for the last 2/3 years .... just getting back into it now and jamming with some people :)

My old band is in my signature below.

Hi there!

I'm a drummer and currently with a band called Blackwolf in Bristol. Been drumming on and off for 8/9 years but a lot more consistently (i.e. at least once a week band practice) over the last year and a half.

I'm rocking a Tama Rockstar Custom with Sabian AAX/HHX cymbals and Iron Cobra double pedals. My kit is in the gear thread (i think, very old pic though) but getting a new 18' AAXplosion and replacing some of my old cymbals soon so will post updated pics as and when!

Yep play a fair bit here.
See sig for the bands

Main "live" Kit:
Pearl Export in filipino mahogony, 12, 13, 14, 16, 22. Varying setups depending on the situation....usually use 13" 16" 22" for live. Mapex Black Panther Snare.
16", 17", 20" A custom crashes, 13" aax fusion hats, 21" paiste mellow sig. sometimes 20" (err I think) aax china.

Also a TD6 for practicing @ home, a spare pearl export for practicing @ the studio, a lot of other snare drums to play around with, and several other cymbal setups.
