So who's got an XBOX "Slim" coming this week?

Well...I think I'll probably buy one today providing they haven't all sold by the time I get to work. We only got three delivered. :(

They are holding off until enough suckers have made this upgrade before pumping another out at xmas with blu ray but don't worry it will only be your 'non slim, slim' plus £100 trade in.

Its not a new Xbox though, its just a "slimmer" cheaper to produce version. Next gen hopefully, if not I suspect it will be a massive shot in there own foot if MS don't go that route. I do wonder though if HD-DVD had one the war would we have seen an inbuilt HD-DVD drive at this point? Im slightly disappointed by the lack of pictures, come on!
 
Just got mine! Took my old Elite back for a replacement and as my friend who works there rightly said I got upgraded to the new 360 because it was the same price.

It looks a LOT better in person, photos don't do it justice. My PS3 phat looks kinda outdone now!

Edit: Also, the controller is different, the middle 360 button now has a shine to it and the analog sticks are completely black not grey and it's possible the bumpers have been elevated a tad. Power brick is smaller and nicer looking, also black.
 
Managed to mess up my DRM transfer. Turned on my new console like it said, detected my old (and unregistered) Elite. Had to email MS hopefully they can sort it.
