hey chaps, im getting married on 14th Aug and need a new suit, i don't want a wedding suit as i would like something i can use again and have as my 'best suit'

issues, im 6'3 and have monkey arms, im guessing i have left it to late to get one made, and only have a budget off £300 - £400 anyway. so any thoughts advice welcome

House of Fraser usually have a good selection of decent suits

you may also be able to run to something from Hugo Boss or Paul Smith at that money

if you can stretch a little moe then I would suggest Ermenegildo Zegna

nice one rotty, yeah i can go hirer if need be, however i do plan on buying two pairs of trousers and getting them altered into flares :D

Paul smith suits are pretty good for that sort of money. I've never been massively impressed with boss suits.

As for altering into flares?! Hell no!!

Try and raid the sale ASAP, you might be able to get a decent suit from Armani at the moment for £400! Although for a wedding you may want to hire a really good suit as opposed to just buying a 'good suit' for £400

lol , eveyone laughs when i flare my suits, but i kinda like the 70's look and drain pipes look daft when you have size 13 feet :D

I always strongly advise against hiring a suit. What's the point in ****ing £100 or so up a wall when you can spend that towards a decent suit that will last you a few years.

yeah im def up for buying, mate was saying about fitting shops in london and then they make it in india, but again time frame looks dodgy

Paul Smith suits are fantastic, however when I was looking the cheapest one I saw was £500

I have a nice Ted back one I got for £250 and a Pierre Cardin that was in a sale for £180

I imagine that for £300-£400 you could choose one and get them to alter it so it fits right

M&S have some really nice suits or you could pop along to an outlet shopping place (like Bicester) and see if they have anything on off there.
