Well the only other one now is the 250Gb. The old designs aren't being made anymore, so its just the 4Gb (Arcade) and the 250Gb (Elite).

At first i thought that a 360S arcade would be pretty cool as i could get a cheap HDD or use mine. Then i realised that its not an option as its changed now so no cheap 2nd hand HDD for me. Although a 16GB USB drive would help a bit and would give you the same storage as the original 360 20GB.

I was expecting this kind of price, but hoping for £60-80 where I think a lot more people would have been tempted. Will be interesting to see what happens in terms of demand - I can still see it being in short supply at release.

Eching the other comments, this is a ridiculous price. Was tempted if it retailed at around £50, but my interest in this now is zero.

You can not charge the same for a peripheral, as the console itself. And it be a success.

I don't own a 360, but if I did I wouldn't buy Kinect. The way the word is spelt is enough evidence that it is meant for retards.
If I had the console then I may have been tempted if it was under £50.

I have a PS3 but won't be buying the motion wand thing either.

PC = Mouse and Keyboard or 360 pad.
PS3 = Being lazy in sofa with gamepad.

Got a Wii on first release, great first few days but ended up getting rid of in about 3 months. I have a 360 and although I like the idea I will end up wanting to just sit and play with a regular controller as I will soon get bored with the games with just 1 mate etc I don't have room for 4 standing people to be dancing about lol

Does the 360 S "Arcade" still have a slot for a HDD in the same place as it is on the 360 S "Elite"? So that you could buy the same HDD that is in the Elite and stick it in at a later date?
