so im thinking of just ordering a sparkle model from somewhere gonna cost about £190 for a non OC version but unless anyone has anything good or bad to say? im prob gonna just do it

Think i've found the one you are looking at.

If so it's model number SXX4601024D5SNM and according to the Sparkle site that is OC'd to 700MHz, not a major jump, but it is slightly OC'd, and appears to be the stock nVidia cooler.

ya im annoyed cos i sold my gt8800 for nowt... then my 5830 for a loss, then had a gtx 470 - then a gtx 460.. now back to 6800u...its not acceptable for me...

the sparkle LOOKs to be a ref cooler design...but only 700mhz core..i check sparkle website and the pic is the ref design too.

then theres Twintech to consider.,...?

You can overclock manually and most, if not all, can run at 800Mhz+ so IMO it doesn't matter what the stock speeds are at all.

Well I've put my 460 purchases on hold until we decide which damn card to go for which has decent cooling. I got until FF14 comes out on the PC

The card will be mainly to play that on a very good setting.

ya cant say sorry. but they do add shipping on AND they were very slow to ship my 5830 i also bought...

im praying this baby is a clocker like Lowrider007's Palit Platinum...

but ill take 850 core with some voltage.

Well i'm still awaiting my refund money (been actioned, just waiting for it to appear back in my account!), so until that happens I can't order anything.

If there's nothing else by Friday i'll be having one of those Sparkles.

just checked my cc the 470 has been credited back actually as of 17th july just didnt show up on my statement.
