I'm curious, now that enough time has passed for the novelty to have worn off, who is still over the moon about their iPad purchase?

I still think its an excellent device, really, but I find for most things the iPhone 4 does a great job, and for bigger stuff theres nothing quite like a proper machine like a macbook or netbook or something...

I've found myself using it for such few niche things (like the tab toolkit for example) that I'm not really convinced that it was £600 well spent...

Anyone else feel the same?

Haven't bought an iPhone 4, didn't see the reason to spend the money on an iPad then the new iPhone, one or the other for me.

I love it, missus loves it, money well spent. My 3G is slow but I've lived with it for 2 years and I certainly won't be getting the iPhone 4 anytime soon. Definitely 100% behind my iPad, when I can get it out of the missus' hands!

Still using it just as much as when I first got it. Over the moon with it. Only negative thing about it is the wife wants one

I'm going to buy one soon. I've done my research and I think it'll be perfect for me. I only use my PC for Football Manager and I've no laptop. I use my iPhone for Internet and email so an iPad would fit the bill.

Purly for laying about in bed and reading thru the web, it's amazing. I rally enjoy typing on it as well. Possibly the best device for working with email as well.

Still regularly using mine, as does the GF. Nothing I've used before beats it for when you want to casually browse the web/play games while on the sofa or in bed.

A few guys at work say they can just use a laptop to do the same thing, but they don't "get" just how much nicer/easier using an iPad is for that kind of stuff.

I'm looking forward to getting mine next month, only really use my laptop for web browsing and listening to music so the iPad will be perfect. Have a iPhone 3G at the moment which I use all day for music, email etc but can't really justify upgrading to a 4 if i'm getting an iPad at the same time.

I've had my Ipad for a month now, and still use it every day. I gave my laptop to my nephew as I don't use it anymore.

I bought one my girlfriend yesterday, so haven't had it long, but I'm gonna grab one myself now, Worms HD is just fun fun fun and web surfing is pretty pro on it, easier and way cooler to sit and surf with:D

Yup still liking mine, though using a little bit less with the purchase of my iPhone 4.

I've only had mine for over 2 weeks but I'm definitely still 100% behind it. Use it everyday as my primary Internet device and now even watch the odd TV episode and film on it. Really enjoying some of the games available for it as well. My iPhone 4 has taken a massive back seat for browsing the web and my laptop only goes on every few days to update my podcasts.

I've had it since about 15th June;
I'm using it less but that's because I've been playing PC games a bit more lately. It's still superb for taking with me to other places (girlfriends, york, took it to center parcs last week) sitting downstairs or on my bed with it, most people have a laptop but I despise browsing the web and doing things on those, so this is my alternative really.

100% behind mine still, not touched my MBP since i got it :( but i love my iPad and it still has the wow effect on me as well :D

I've had mine for about 4-5 weeks. I love it. I use it every day for mail, surfing, music and apps. I still use my macbook. It's the desktop PC that has gathered dust.

Using mine every day for a few hours a day while im at home. A few things are still bugging me (apps closing etc) but very happy.

I've taken it out a few times but normally i don't carry a bag and hell no am I just holding it (thats inconvenient for one) need a nice bag ;)
