And yeah you can. You can download the SC2 client right now from Blizzard's site, but you won't be able to install until the 27th of course.

No point starting on the second game until I've played through the first.

anyone know how well this game will run? still have my venerable 8800GTS G92 and just wanna know that it'll not randomly explode for no reason when running starcraft (keep in mind the first starcraft would happily run on chocolate, and still be silky smooth)

Looking at the rest of your rig, you'll be absolutely fine maybe not ultra settings, but med-high for sure.

Should be fine. I can run everything maxed with a solid 60fps and a HD4850 isn't that much better than a 8800GTS.
