Couldn't see a thread on this, I did search for "Mortal Kombat", so apologies if I have missed it.

Anyway, this looks brutal!

I know not everyone like MK and I am sure the "pro" SF players are just willing to hate, but personally I loved MK and I am glad they are going back to 2D tyle fighting in a 3D setting.

MK Trilogy was where it peaked for me on the PS. Was never a fan of the 3D MK games and I think they lost their way a little.

looks bloody great! (excuse the pun) i havent played a mortal kombat since the one which came out for the ps1 (i cant remember the name though)

we always used to put the one button fatality cheat in, hated doing all those button combos

I've been following this since I saw it shown at E3. I'm really looking forward to it. Fighters aren't really my thing and I haven't played a MK game since MK1 on the SNES. I'll wait until the reviews come out but it looks like Ed Boon and the guys at Nether Realms are doing a good job with this title so far.

It's not like the xray thing hasn't been done before. It was done in Death By Degrees with Nina Williams from Tekken

and to be honest, having never heard of that game I looked it up. Wished I hadn't bothered. It looks awful in all aspects and the "x-ray" effects look knowhere as good as MK.

So MK stole a concept..... meh.

As said terrible game, dont really see what that brings to the thread to be honest. This game looks amazing glad they have gone back to the original concept, cant wait ^^

looks great quite looking forward to this, its come a long way since the days of the 3d ones thats for sure!
this with mvc3 and weve got some great games ahead.
