Many thanks folk, I shall be one of the "quiet" sorts of mods, fiddling in the background so to speak. Very present on the forums, hopefully less so in the Mods room.

Gibbo was a Don before, that's a Commissario's avatar so the permissions available to him have changed also.

You can't claim anyone unless you want to risk a ban - or maybe now Gilly's left the mod team that's changed... If you want to risk it then go ahead... ;)

Does this mean someone can change my name then? I've asked for alex24 via email to an admin but I guess they don't check/care/are to busy. Can a Don do that?

Only an admin can do so (e.g. a Commissario) - maybe Gibbo will be feeling generous with his new powers. As for your previous emails, I've got no idea where they got to but if you didn't email a Commissario straight away it might have been missed.

Cheers pal, I'm pretty sure I emailed an admin (using the address in the FAQ) but I'll bug them again.
