Best Music/Soundtrack from Game?

What is the best soundtrack (custom or not) from any game you've played?

I loved the Battlefield 2 music. Made the loading screens bearable.

Non-PC wise I loved the music from Project Gotham IV.

Not a PC game, and several of the tracks took a while to grow on me, but now I really love it.

However, nothing can beat Wipeout 2097. Nothing composed specifically for it, but the tracks they did pick are perfect for futuristic hurtling around racetracks.

Oblivion had some great musical 'moments' but im not sure about the best overall soundtrack.

Icewind Dale 1.

No question. Its almost like Jeremy Soule reached a new level with this one. He never got it back. Although the morrowind soundtrack was good.

I'd have to agree about Icewind Dale being great.

I really liked the music for TA too, Soule again.

Yasunori Mitsuda's Chrono Cross soundtrack is hard to beat.

Almost always turn off bgm but bf2 was pretty good and doom

My favourite is the orchestral music form Halo CE. i used to turn on the Xbox just so i could listen to that...........
