In my experience racism is perfectly acceptable if your not white. I never really kick up a fuss about it as i believe we deserve it due to all the racial slavery that England was involved in in the past.

Considering that Robboftw's first post in this thread was edited by a moderator for being 'a bit over the top', I don't think anyone should take his comments too seriously. He appears to have some sort of problem with matthewhotdude.

Do they?, I personally don't automatically assume anything of their sexual preference.

Most people don't think about it as a rule. I've worked with a guy for four years, and it was only a few months ago I found out he was gay when he introduced his partner to me and my wife at a dinner party. It was no big deal, mainly because he didn't make it one. We had a normal evening and there is no reason why we shouldn't have or why broadcasting your sexuality whatever it may be is neccessary.

Although it depends on your surroundings and who you're with. For example, if you work with a bunch of lads lads, you're bound to hear homophobic jokes because they assume that you're straight and therefore fine with them (although that may or may not be the case).
