Are you stuck in limbo with what you want to do/be in life ie not getting anywhere or are you lucky enough to be semi sorted out ?

Me personally im permanently stuck in limbo haven't gotta clue what i want to do/be or if i can just trying to make it to tomorrow depressive and pathetic and selfish ain't it for someone at aged 24 to be saying that ?

It wasn't my intention to turn this thread into a emo thread from day 1 but sometimes questions need answers even if sometimes there isn't any easy answers to life problems if you get what i mean.

I do know now. Some kind of 3d artist for games/films.

During A-levels i had no idea though and the only reason i found a uni course i wanted to do was just browsing prospectus's :D

I know what I want to do in my life. Now actually doing it is an entirely different matter.
I want to go into journalism and have just completed a degree in that subject. Now I'm trying to get an internship at a local paper and see where it goes from there. If within 5 years I have not got very far in this goal then I will consider a career change.

21, I want to one day be really really seriously rich lol. Its shallow but hey, money cant buy you hapiness but it sure can go a long way to helping!

I don't have a clue, I work on my parents farm as a tractor driver and general farm hand.. I'm 22.

24, I know what I want to be doing and I'm sort of on the right track - just hard to get there. As long as I keep working, learning and trying I'll get there eventually

I want to write a book. I've got the setting, the concept, everything but the plot mapped out. All I need now is the will to start and finish such a project.

All the way through school I never knew what I wanted to be or do as a career, I was always good at maths but it wasn't something I enjoyed.

So when it came to picking my A-Levels, because I was good at maths I picked Maths with Further Maths, not too happy about it but it seemed a very strong, easy (for me) A level and so I had that, I then had 3 other choices, I chose Physics because it was interesting and for the fourth I was really going to pick PE because I got an A at it in GCSE and I like sport but then I went to the computing talk at my college and completely changed my mind, I do computing at A-Level.

I love programming and I love video games, now I want to become a games developer, I know exactly where I want to go for university and what course I want to take. It's good because it implements hard maths (Vectors in 3D environments etc. and matricies) into something that I enjoy.

So I got onto a winner, I know it's not the same for everyone but there are literally thousands of careers that you can choose from, It's just finding one that is enjoyable. Way I see it if you work 9-5 mon-fri thats 8 hours of your day spent at work, might as well find something that you enjoy If you're going to spend that much time at work.

Sorry for the life story :P.

My goal in life is to get some of my writing published, thoguh that is admittedly a long term goal of mine (talking 10 years time) :) along with that me and the lass are pretty certain we want to leave Britain for another English speaking country (probably New Zeland) as we both think this place is a complete rip off bin these days and if we had the money we would already be gone. Again though this a slightly longer term goal of ours (5-10 years)

As it stands we are both happy in our careers, me a project manager and her a teacher, with our own house and whilst we certainly dont want to live as we do now forever we have our goals :)

Don't know.

At the moment I'm attempting to find an Apprenticeship in Engineering, Non-Destructive Testing sounds like it could be interesting.

I was in limbo too until, a couple of years ago I suddenly discovered that I liked writing. It was totally out-of-the-blue as I've never even been a huge reader. Now I have written copy, articles, scripts and fiction and would quite like to make it into a career!
