Within the past year I've been close to tears 3 times whilst watching films :o

Up: That scene of course :(

Transformers Animated movie: Optimus !!

Kung Fu Hustle: I have no explanation or any memory of where this was :S

And there's also the infamous episode of futurama with Fry's Dog

/pussy

Seems I don't relate to humans, well other than the oriental crazy ones :s

I am a big old Romantic deep down I think and the scenes that REALLY make me cry like a girl are these:

Unrequited love at it's most harsh, and the music REALLY contributes here!

And the ultimate ending for young love:

Pixar... Damn, they're good at making me moist.

Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Up, you name it, they've removed tears from my eyes.

Up did have some very sad parts as did Marley & Me.

I think it's an age thing - the older I get, the more they seem to affect me.

My brother cried when Sub-zero died in the Mortal Combat film :D.

I don't think I've ever cried at a film. The only film recently that got to me a bit was Man on fire. No man tears were shed though!

Bridge To Terabithia. Thought it was going to be a happy fun Disney family movie...not so. Anyone who's seen it will know what I mean when I say it stabs the knife in and just keeps twisting it for a good few minutes. Very effective though and very well done.
