**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

the original Starcraft was much better than C&C, was just more fun to play, find C&C a bit shall we say lacking where as the unique flavours of the Starcraft races gave you way more to play with :)

Got to pick up the game still But will 111% be online tonight.

No voice makes me a sad child. How will I play without you shouting that I am **** (because frankly I still am). I went through a good spell a while back. my mechanics have improved but playing zerg (in phase2 of the beta) was basically an uphill battle. There are so, so many ways a Terran or Toss player can hurt Zerg in the early to middle game the even when I scout whats happening I am rarely able to hold out.

Right thats the excuses done ;)

ive given in and got caught up in the hype, ive just bought a copy from tesco's for £34.99. It seems crazy the the digital download is £10 more.
 
Im wondering, when are the next installments of SC2 due out, will they be released in quick succession or is there going to be a big gap between them all?

And will there be a collectors edition for each? Sorry if none of this info is known yet
 
yeah tesco seem the best highstreet price at the minute, got mine from certain online site this morning, can't wait to play it but im off to the cinema to see Inception and won't be home till later, ARGHH!
 
just got mine... nobody in walsall thought to order any CE's in... weird.. so i just brought one from offline, so now i have both... dont know why lol.
 
Here is an amusing one for you. I preordered SC2 about 12-18 months ago. Then when the CE was anounced I purchased it as well but with next day delivery as I had forgotten to do this with the normal edition all that time ago. Guess which one has turned up today and the other is only being delivered tomorrow!?

wings of liberty is single play as terrans only

there will be two further expansions

one to play campaign as Protoss and another to play as the Zerg Swarm
 
not much talk on the actual gameplay here....I presume because people are too busy playing it! or at work.

Usually don't play rts's but thought i'd give them a go and start with Starcraft 2.

Anyone want to persuade me to go and buy it? Is it suitable for those who've never played the previous starcraft?

these are beta benches and slightly limited, there was another site but i cant find the damn thing

Pleasure, back this Saturday.

You'd struggle with any race as you xcopy your fundamentals rather than developing your own intuition.
