New hotmail rolled out

We refering to to online email client or the instant messaging feature? Either way I didnt see a need for it to change. "if it aint broke..."

it was fine how it was, if I want to send email easily and fast I'll use web / hotmail..

if I want lots of features I'll install an email client on my PC..
 
Hated it before, it's a lot better now, though the annoying side adverts are a pain. You can't read your mail if you have a smaller screen, and adblock removes the banner, but the placeholder is still there.

I'd still like it to sign in straight to the inbox though, the first page is approximately useless to me. Long way to go before it's as awesome as gmail though.
 
Haven't logged in Hotmail since I got myself Windows Office 2007 with the Outlook plugin.
I don't quite like the bit where you see 'private messages' - full of spam spam spam, viagra and spam.
 
Haven't tried the website, I always use the Live Mail app as it's far faster, but did notice the mobile version has changed. Bit more functionality now and looks better, hopefully it won't also take longer to load on slower connections.
 
My girlfriend noticed this last night. I didn't like the look of it from what showed me.

I've just logged into mine however, and it hasn't actually changed for me yet.

Hope it wont affect all of my rules etc.. :(

i wish to stab the developer who has done this, why change it and make it stupiply **** . Seriously leave it alone. Same with facebook, changed way too often.
 
I thought Hotmail was canned because of how rubbish it was!


Gmail > Hotmail but everything > Yahoo Mail :)

It's overly complicated and did they change the font?

I dont understand microsofts obsession with changing something that works well and making it crap, office 2007 springs to mind.
