**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Husky's ok. Not a great player compared to some other commentators. Watch Day9 if you really want to get into strategy. Chill, Diggity and Gretorp are also amazing commentators - I like them more than HD/Husky (the youtube stars :p) personally.

I also like iCCup commentators, Raelcun and Josh. http://www.youtube.com/user/iCCupTV (the GG invitational is going on right, going to be an epic tourney. iCCup are covering it)

Not as great players as Gretorp or Day9, but really fun to listen to.

Seriously need to practice for online! Had a skirmish against the computer earlier on "Very Easy" and it was an easy win for me then I went onto "Easy" and got bum raped :s
 
Still havent started the single player, jumped straight into the multi. I can see it being very good but I dont like watching 20 minute videos before playing a game.

Might get around to it soon though

I always hotkey my nexus' to 5,6,7. When I get more than one I can then boost seperately from one or more nexus (nexi??) Does this mean energy builds up faster with more than one nexus?

Yeah if you hotkey 2 nexuses to 1 control group, it will use either of their energies to chrono automatically. It doesn't combine them though, if you had 22 energy on one and 23 on the other you won't be able to chrono.

tbh it's probably better to continue what you're doing and just spam 5c6c7c to chrono. If you put them all on one you have to press backspace to switch between nexuses. It's easier to just 55 or 66 or 77.
 
Damn battle.net disconects. I'm about 20 missions in to the campaign and 5 or 6 of my missions didn't get achievments because I disconected from battle.net while playing. I plan to play though again anyway on brutal and take alternate path choices, but its a little silly that I can't get achievments I earn due to a battle.net with connectivity issues.

Edit: Well, after the loss of connection to battle.net, I went to eat, when I came back and loaded up stacraft and logged back in, I went to campaign only to find the last 3 hours of work I have done vanished, so I have to go through several damn missions all over again. I'm starting to dislike these damn bugs, if I continued for longer, I could have potentially lost tons more of my gametime, all wasted.

Play a couple more games or at least untill you finish your placement matches, you'll then get pitted up against players of your own level
quite a nice matchmaking system they have :)

and losing is always good, you learn more from losing than you do from winning!

You won't be dissapointed in the SP. I did it the other way around. doing the SP at the moment cos if i went straight for the MP i would never get round to playing single player. haha
