Retarded feet = new trainers every 3 weeks

Go to a proper running shop where you can have a MOT on your feet.
They will get you on a treadmill and watch your gait and with the correct shoes you should be OK.
If it is too much then a trip to the Podiatrist to see if you need orthotics.

This is the whole truth. However, the machine in the running shop is just that, the expertise lies in the interpretation of the data.
Some of the children working in my local running shop couldn't interpret a bus ticket.

A podiatrist that specialises in sports biomechanics and is sincere enough not just to separate you from your money is the best solution.

If your funds are limited then a referral from your GP would keep you within the NHS but podiatrists in the NHS that specialise in sports are as plentiful as rocking horse poo.

This happens to my shoes too, but not as quickly as you say.

Always wear out the outside of the heel first!

My feet do that to shoes. Thing is... don't replace them. They have worn in to the right shape, and while that wear happens quickly they don't wear very much more for months or years after.

Too right and my orthotics were going to cost £200 until I found a colleague who did it for £20 (cost of material).

I expect you can get some custom insoles to seriously help with that. See your GP and get refered

Here's mine - the other side! The will go like this pretty quickly, maybe a month or so, but wear evenly from that point onwards. There's maybe 1cm difference between each side.

The outer edge of my shoe sole wears down quicker because my right leg twists outward slightly below the knee. Only correctable surgically though, presumably by breaking the shin and re-setting it, so I'll pass thanks!

Some brands last better than others anyhow, my current pair (Airwalk) have worn extremely fast. Nike are actually very good for longevity generally!

Is there a word for this? I have the exact same problem. It's like I have bow legs but it starts at my knees, my shins sort of go back and outwards. I have the same problem with my shoes and I used to get shin splints quite bad when I would run a lot. It never occurred to me to see a doctor because it doesn't bother me really.

My shoes wear down the same as the OP. I wear ones with sturdy soles so they last a year at least. I have some timberland pro titanium toe work shoes that have lasted 5 years already.
