I was reading this and had to wince at the thought of dying like that, perhaps this should go in the worst ways to die thread ^_^

Sisters Toni and Samantha Brown were branded despicable and callous / Police handout

Samantha Brown, 20, from Manchester, England, stabbed Dean Darvill, 23, in the groin after he accused her of having a gay affair, The Manchester Evening News reported.

Waste of a life @ 23 and ouch :/

5 years for killing a person? This country is so stupid it's beyond me, someone gets the same sentence for driving like a mad man, their problem but they don't mean to intentionally hurt anyone but someone who STABS and KILLS someone and refuses to call medical help is pure and simple life term, not 5 years.

ags

I can almost see the sense in the woman stabbing him in the groin. I mean, women do some crazy shiz and if she was drunk and raging who knows? Needed more punishment though.

The sickening thing is the sister not calling the ambulance and even worse, stopping others from calling one. I mean how hard is it these days with the number of mobile phones to call 999? All because he accused her sister of having an affair/being a lezbo?

Dear lord...

Id hit the one on the right and after a few beers the one on the left too.

id make sure there were no sharp instruments in the vicinity

5 years, 3 before paroled:eek::mad:

She murdered soomeone ffs.

Judge Clement Goldstone QC said: 'How anyone can be so callous and selfish is beyond me."

How anyone can be so leaniant with sentencing is beyond me.

Worse still she phoned his family up told them and then told them she wouldn't get him help and refused to give them her address.

An hour later, as Mr Darvill's condition worsened, she phoned his family, who begged her to call an ambulance, but again she refused.

That's sick.

This case throws me completely off.

I am usually in favour of lighter sentencing and proper rehabilitation. However, in this case, I can't fathom what to rehabilitate. It seems to be a case of violent and spiteful revenge, followed by total, utter, uninhibited stupidity.

Putting these two people in prison will not change them, and I'm not sure they're even a risk, but wow. It's almost like we need to study them. How did they become such a pair of ****** up rotten scumbags? I wouldn't be surprised if the parents are similar wastes of space.

When I hear about sentences like this I think judges should have to prove they are still capable of carrying out their jobs every couple of years or so.

Surely a sentence like this should end up under some form of independant review as to whether the judge is still capable of doing his job.
