Pano and Panorama. There was a app out where you record a video and it makes a panoramic photo from it (forgot the name).
 
iMovie...it gets lots of thumbs up but it's very basic? Only 5 themes, you can't choose your own music, add captions or anything...or am I doing it very wrong??

You can choose your own music, and you can add titles, change transitions etc. There are only five themes atm though.
 
It's quite limited. Read the reviews on the app store people were initially pleased with it as it's easy to use but then the limitations weighed in.
 
Just got MiTube this morning, great little app for watching/downloading youtube videos in low, high or even HD quality :)

Anyone who wanted the features of MxTube/YourTube but didn't want to jailbreak, give it a try!

MITUBE YOUTUBE DOWNLOADER [Now FREE in App Store]

MITUBE is a youtube downloader for your iphone it gives you the option to download in HD as well for some reason apple as approved this app in the app store so grab it now before it gets removed.

This app has been doing the rounds on the jailbreak for years.

The Official Twitter app works well for me, but the new update seems to be causing crashes (luckily I've not updated.)
 
I am going to add meboo to the list of my must haves

Added my msn and facebook accounts to it.

I never use msn anymore but still have one or two people on there which is nice. Using facebook chat is a pain on the phone or on the website meebo is much nicer.

The meebo app will send you a push message when someone speaks to you and then you can open up the meebo app and chat away it will use background when your on the phone and push when its in your pocket so battery dosnt take a hit.

Its free and well worth it.

Another cool thing if you use the meebo website it wont log your phone out but will not send it push messages while your logged in online, seams well thought out so this way you dont even need to think about the app when your on a computer it all just works.

I have no idea.

I am sure its been turned down before.

So it could have just been missed by someone at apple or apple are going to start letting more questionable apps in the store such as this one.

I am sure it just slipped past some how.

But i really hope that Apple are fighting the jailbreaker by letting apps in that people jailbreak for......Maybe....well i can hope.

Wifi tether and scrolling folders please Steve :-D
 
I do question how thorough Apple are when screening these apps. Does anyone have any details of how it's done? Is it automated? Surely it must be, at least in part, as I doubt they have the manpower to inspect everything.

Some of the stuff that has gotten through before makes me think it's only a matter of time before something truely nasty slips through the net.
 
I dont know how its done but that tether app got in the other week as a flashlight app. I think a computer would have picked up the code.

It must be part person as a computer couldn't tell the difference from an app full of porn and an app full of cake photos.

If it is a person then they might have wanted this app for them self so let it pass :-D
