DAMN! - 'Sub of The Day' has gone up in price to £2.29

I know a lot of subways (if not all) are franchises so perhaps it varies depending on where you go? However, looking at their site it looks like the £2.29 is now the minimum and each franchise can charge more if they want

don'y buy one then. I've stopped buying products because of price increases before.

Considering you could make a better sandwich for cheaper than the old price this seems like a foolish decision

Salad, sauce, cheese, bread and meat for £2 no chance, you would end up spending about £8 and it would last you a few days but who wants the same thing for 3 days in a row?

Its £2.29 here, dont know why its gone up considering its £3 for normal subs.

Ive never had a subway. Whenever I pass the local one, it just smells of cooked cardboard. I dont see how anyone can find that appetising!

I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion. The fillings aren't the best in the world, but the bread smells like fresh bread should.

Had a foot long steak and cheese yesterday with all the trimmings, soooo good!

I used to enjoy a subway until I realised how unhealthy it REALLY was and the prices are ridiculous for something I could probably make myself.

something I could probably make myself.

I buy the occasional subway. I have everything on it. Living alone, it would be quite a big and also expensive operation for me to keep all of the salad etc fresh at home for when I fancied a sandwich.
