Finally spent out on a desk mount today...

Following on from this:

An Hour a go I ordered myself a new desk mount after a month or so of umming-and-ahhing about it to a point of nearly forgetting the whole idea.

At first I was considering the NeoFlex but thought to myself that it could become obsolete depending on what route I go with my next monitor. I'd rather pay the extra and know I wont have to replace it any time soon.

So I decided to go for an LX. Much more flexible in terms of position and able to hold more weight/larger screens.

Should be here tomorrow, I'll be sure to take photo's, post them up here and offer my findings.

I'm just about to order a Neo-Flex after a few hours reading

Was going to pass my 20WGX2 to someone as i'm about to order a 24" very soon, but seeing as it's a superb monitor I reckon it should sit quite nicely in Portrait mode next to the new one.

Should be. NeoFlex will take 8kg and the LX will take 9kg.

How much did it cost you? I've been thinking of getting one as well but it seemed a little pricy when I last looked.

It was £116 plus a few pence including next day delivery.

'That' auction site has them for £114 posted but I wanted it here today as I have the whole weekend off to tinker around.

Apologies for the lack of updates, The place where I've ordered it have been having problems with their supplier.

Great stuff, glad you're pleased with it.

As I was promised, mine arrived yesterday. But because I worked in the evening, today was the earliest I could get it all together... So I did.

Base installed:

First arm mounted to base:

This has a plastic cover on the bottom whilst the alloy arm is hollowed out for cable management.

Nice and flexible...

How it's currently placed:

Sorry for the relatively poor photo's. I'll take better ones with my DSLR later/tomorrow.
