I agree, however stamping on a guy who's MASSIVE... and just KO'd a woman by punching her in the back of the head is another matter :)

The woman was facing away from him. The only excuse for hitting a woman, imo (unless you're wrapped in some type of hollywood seductress murderess storyline) is that she's actively attacking you, and has to be stopped abruptly. This clearly isn't the case (she's facing away and walking.. Away). Ergo, if he gets his head stomped then he gets his head stomped, and that's what happens when you punch women in the head from behind..

Well they sound like my kind of martial artists then. Maybe it's just the ones I know - but the cage/muay thai would always be up for a fight (in fact, they have provoked it before) whereas the bjj/jitsu/karate/aikido/etc would rather not. If that makes sense.

Hypothetically speaking, what about if the UFC guy was a police officer? (1) On duty, (2) Off duty?
 
How many times has ufc fighter been mentioned in this thread?

He does not even fight in the ufc.

UFC is a brand name, not a style of fighting. He fights for Bellator.
 
This **** about not hitting women annoys me. Countless times I've seen mouthy cows punching blokes and the man can't do anything because if he does he'll get 20 fists thrown his way. I thought both sexes were equal? If you're big enough to throw a punch you're big enough to take one, male or female. A common justification is that they're weaker. Would you let a weaker man punch you in a face?

Obviously I don't know the situation in the video but seems like two morons fighting, nothing more.

Hmm. I think I'd stick by him dude. I have an aversion to authority, but, case by case etc, I stand by what I say.
In-fact, it's completely impossible to implement in a fair and controlled manor, blah blah, but I think it would be fantastic if there were a policing force that could be trusted to dish out 'justice' beatings, on the streets, to those who would do harm to others :). Edit: to be clear, sort of like that prison ship in red dwarf where you're subjected to instant karma ;P.

what does 'claimed' mean in this context?

re: the video. from what i can make out, the offender is wearing a yellow t-shirt, the man who gets his head stamped on is in a white wife beater (ironically) does the ufc bloke get the wrong man or has he took the yellow t-shirt off?
ufc bloke should know to not hit anyone who is KO'ed because they can't defend themselves and it's how people die. the fact he has stamped on his head should carry a sentence
