First order from OCUK

Sorry you had a rare bad experience :(

However, like many others that have posted here, I have had no such problems with any of my growing list of orders!!

Garage space is getting smaller by the day with the excess packaging, especially them big green air filled pocket snake type things!!!

I love those!

I have never had a problem with OCUK packaging either! They are firmly at the top of my list due to the amazing customer service they have should i ever need it.

always been very good..OCuk you are sods with those air pocket things....particularly when you stand on them :p oh well I can use them as a fire cracker with out the fire :D

as for customer service I too have seem them and some are fair enough, you should be able to see it, just a case of the customer not reading the small print..than take it out on OCuk

as for me no problems at all...as said the packaging is over kill

I once got a big box delivered to me when I ordered my DFGT should have seen my face :p

Well i've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and i'm getting the same problems. Artifacts and freeze ups. I'm going to RMA unless anyone has any solutions for me?.

recently i had a sound card, in nothing but a jiffy bag. I was a bit miffed to say the least.

Don't let things get sloppy now!

Please accept my apologies - this is not how we pack orders at OcUK.

I have spoken to the person that packed your order and he feels that you may have been one of the very few unlucky customers that has received a roughly handled order. However, you should have had more internal packaging and it looks like this was a simple oversight on his part, for which he apologises.

Any problems with your items let me know and I will personally make sure you get a replacement item immediately.

I think i'm going to have to take you up on that offer. The GPU is giving me artifacts and random freeze ups. What do i need to do then? (I've never RMA'd)

I've never been disappointed myself. I've had a nice squashed set of corners, but its always been good!

Oh, and the air pack things, great fun to stamp on in the early hours :p

+ My gpu i remember had a little battering, but I'm waiting till christmas to upgrade, not RMA'ing as its fine underclocked :p

Actually my recent order had poor packaging too...It didn't even come in a box, just an outer plastic bag type thing.

I received my GTX470 in bag the other week:( luckily there was no damage to the Zotac box :)

Packing is normally top notch and i can't complain when its FREE shipping :D

I'll get a member of staff you call you first thing on the number in your profile. We'll sort it for you don't worry :)

My latest order come in a plastic bag with a single sheet of bubble wrap wrapped around it.. didn't cover the whole box leaving the top and bottom inch of the box completely unprotected, led to a rather dented box but the 5850 was fine.
I let it slide as all of the other orders I have had with OcUK have had exceptional packaging, as other have said in many cases completely OTT.. was just a little bummed that the order that didn't come packed to the nines was the most expensive PC part I've ever purchased. :/

More bubble wrap! I dont care if you put the price of shipping up....just....need....more...

Also, if you buy bubble wrap online and they send it to you, what do they wrap it up in?

hi its not oc.uk that worries me when i place a order, its the company they use for the delivery, total fools if you ask me,i watched from the window as the guy lifted my new £2000 watercooled pc from the van only to roll the thing in the street then tries to deny it,sort them out oc.uk

Ocuk can't physically see the delivery drivers, every courier company has some ***** that work for them it's inevitable.

If the guy who delivers your orders does that again i'd be ringing DPD straight away and refusing to sign for it.

The man who brings my stuff, is a nice guy see me 3 times in the same week once :)

Great to see OcUK openly dealing with this and not simply nuking he thread at the first sign of trouble. That fills me with confidence in the company. Keep it up.
