either not very good or not very well known but you still really like them.

Pretty much self explanatory, my film that I like but is not very well known would have to be City of God. And one that I think isn't very good but I still like it anyway is The Business(yes, the one with Danny Dyer :eek:).

So come on, what's yours. I'm in need of some new films to watch.
 
Terrible films that are awesome? That definitely would have fit into your thread title. Why trail off?

Awesome, awesome, awful films.

"A good year" is one I really like. It's a very easy to watch film, a little girly perhaps but enjoyable.
 
Aeon Flux. I know it's awful, my friends all tell me it's awful but I enjoy it! And Charlize Theron in a cat suit is quite frankly awesome.
 
Lol the classic City of God being not very well known, thats be doing the rounds as a way of claiming your cultured in cinematography since about 2005.
I dont know anyone who hasn't seen that film.
Plus The Business is a good film anyway :)
 
Dark City is an odd one which puts people off with its badly done aliens, effects and general cheese, but I think its great.
 
Zardoz.

Low budget, typical 70s trippy trash etc, but the story and ideas that it tries to show are excellent I think. :)
 
another one is Gattaca, it is quite highly thought of online but not met one person IRL who likes it apart from me.

I'm not trying to claim I'm cultured in cinematography, I don't know many people that have seen it.


Freddy Got Fingered is another one of those films I'd probably watch if it was on TV, awful film though imo. :p
