Ah ha the Ford Ranger turned up today, they just posted the keys through my letter box, it's brand new with 600 miles on the clock, it's a Thunder model in a light blue and is terrible, both in quality and drive.
How Ford can make a modern competant car like the Mondeo alongside this is gobsmaking, I can only compare it to something made last century as the clocks & dash look like they were just thrown together, oooo I need a A/C switch, ahh drill and round switch in here great, how they think they can compete with Mitsubushi and Toyota models I don't know.
I assume this is made either by or for the Yanks, the difference in quality looks the same as when I compared my Accord Coupe to the normal Accord, the Coupe was made and sold mainly in the US
Driving is OK until it's wet then the rear end just wants to overtake the front unless your well out of the diesel power band. In fifth the lever sits so far over your leg rests against it and the interior is very cramped.
However,
I have taken it to a few back roads and unmade roads and it seems to keep it self composed but I can't see who would spend circa 18k on a new one
