Sold the R32 (again)....

Good purchase - I like. Be careful whilst trying to remove that Silverstone pass on the middle of the windscreen, those are buggers and leave a nasty residue if they have been on for a while.

Loads of our company vehicles had those and we took them off after every weekend and still caused us trouble :/

What you recommend to remove?

Is this the one that lacks torque? (or was that the previous model?)

Nice looking motor :-) How long did you test drive for?

Do a few miles in the E92 and you'll soon forget why you believed the R32 to be so special, for good though they are they really aren't as good as your OP made out. E46 M3, RS4, Cayman S and 996 C2 are so much more of a car....though the 996 C2 might well have felt tired but all are quicker, noticeably too and when it comes to handling all are sharper though the RS4 does fall apart at the front end when pushed really hard....but so does the Golf. Enjoy the M3, proper car and so much quicker than your Golf.....you may not 'feel' it at first but wait till you come across and R32 who want's to play. In a new league now, enjoy.

Lovely, not what i personally would have chosen for the budget, but as said - new league. Great car.

I didn't read it that way, just that a CSL was a lot of money for a 7 year old car.

It depends on how you see it though.

Some mind see it as an old BMW, but to me I see it as a machine that will almost certainly because a proper cult car - It's a Lot of money, but you're unlikely to lose it :).

That's what I thought. It's a lot of money for a 7 year old car... but it won't depreciate much at all. The car he bought, whilst fantastic, will depreciate loads.

nit-picking aside, lovely car =]

We need Tax Evader, he is now in an E92 and removing his CSL from him I hear took a ward, gas and some knives but I hear he's happy and sideways again, so back to normal then!

He won't care.He will be having too much fun :p

I think the engine is a work of genius in these, feels quite different to the RS4 lump, though I don't think it sounds quite as nice, RS4 with sport button does sound rather splendid.

Nice, although I'm actually not really a big fan of the S65B40 or the S85B50. That's not to say they aren't brilliant, just not quite to my tastes. I like the old S62 better.

I didn't know you'd driven an E92 M3, what did you think other than the engine?

Agree, although this one happens to have an eisenmann exhaust on it :)

I read your OP and wondered WTF this crap was you were babbling on about.

Your post made little sense to me (not hard) and I felt something was distracting you whilst you were writing it.

Then I realised you have a new M3!

All is explained, I doubt I'd be able to think about anything other than its arrival....

Well done, great car, I hate you. :D
