Will be getting this as well as FIFA this year so I have a proper football game to play as well as something for online play. Unless of course PES sorts its online out.

I don't get why fifa is better than pes. I've been playing a lot of fifa 09 and PES 10 lately and PES is by far the better game.

The only thing Fifa does better is online play IMO... Its far too easy to score in fifa. I find PES more of a challenge.. this might be down to my skill level but in fifa, I seem to be able to score from the same spot every time. PES just feels more dynamic and has better ball psychics.

Well For starters your playing FIFA 09 go play FIFA10 and compare to PES 10 im sure your view will change thou imo PES hasnt been any good since 6 it just never changes.

Crap animations,crappy sounds i.e they kick ball sounds like their throwing bricks,game play is dull,doesnt feel real enough imo

You're one of the minority who would say that. I used to be a hardcore PES fan, but the game stagnated over the years and never reached the heights of PES5, while Fifa continued to refine and improve their game over the years. Fifa 09 was exceptional, Fifa 10 is easily the best football game ever (IMHO), and I have high hopes for Fifa 11 being even better than that. PES just can't compare any more, in any department.

I used to be a pes fan, but been converted to fifa since 09. I've recently sold fifa 10 to get pes 10 for the master league to mix it up. I much prefer fifa!

Eurogamer say from playing it that they've definitely changed up this year and have started from scratch. Some of the new controls sound really rather clever.

This PES looks dreadful. PES 2010 was crap; PES2009 was GOOD.

Fifa 2010 > All PES.

I switched to Fifa because Fifa 2010 was frickin awesome. Last Fifa game I played was 2001 which was the muts nuts.

Sorry guys. I'd rather play football than ping-pong.

And I'd also rather games are decided on skill than what side of the bed FIFA got up on.

To be fair, I generally prefer PES but FIFA does have its own plus points!

Will probably end up getting this, have played Fifa 10 a lot as best mate has it but just prefer the simple jump in action of PES. May also be something to do with me not really being a football fan lol. Hoping the new one will have a few more changes than the previous attempts though, the graphics look pretty but want more than that

Last 2 years have been Fifa for me but before that I was PES from the early ISS Pro. Might be tempted by PES this year but I'll have to watch a lot of good videos to make me change!

I've had a console for years and even though I've wanted a football game since I've had it I refuse to buy one unless I enjoy it and I haven't enjoyed any since PES6.

Personally, I feel the licensing of FIFA glosses over a lot of it's flaws when compared to PES.

I really hope PES gets it right this year, most people seem to agree that their 'next-gen' versions haven't been up to scratch (although for me, I really enjoyed PES09. 2010 is terrible though).

The early signs from people who have played the early builds are sounding quite good. As long as they can fix the goalkeepers, which seems to be the main complaint from the most recent builds, hopefully they will regain some of their old fan base.

I've seen the potential in the last couple of FIFA games, but I can never really get into them for some reason.

I never got around to playing PES10. Got FIFA10 because FIFA09 was quite good. Apart from 360 degree dribbling, I fully believe FIFA10 was a step backwards.
