I enjoy eating a range of meat of all descriptions, one thing i have noticed in many restaurants recently is the lack of pork.

I am sure there are many reasons; What do you guys think of this trend and any other people noticing this in your area?

Can't say I have.
Sausages and slow roast belly pork are very in fashion atm.

However I would say that other types of pork have declined. People just prefer other things. Restaurant you want something you will really enjoy.
how many people will go for pork over another meat.

From casual observation most people seem to order other things when they are out nowadays, I can't remember the last time one of my friends ordered pork in a restaurant come to think of it

I was at a restaurant yesterday for lunch, two of the five tapas dishes we had containted pork. Quite a few of the other dishes which we didn't order also contained pork. Not really noticed a lack to be honest.

i love a bit of pork crackling the fat just dripping out of the sides of your mouth, washed down with a glass of beef dripping.

When I eat out in a restaurant I often want things I don't tend to cook at home, so seldom if ever order it. However, I haven't noticed a decrease in pork options I must say.

Pretty much nothing but Pork over here :(
(well I guess it counts for around 70% of the dishes)

Pork is everywhere. Picked up some lovely Gloucestershire Old Spot sausages for the BBQ at lunchtime.
