recommend me 2 drives

need 2 drives to raid

could someone recommend me 2 around 500gb+

not got to much cash to play with (not sure what i have yet)

price/performance is good

how much better are these with 64mb cache

I believe the WD Caviar Black WD5002AAEX is only recently released and uses a single 500GB platter, however as yet there appears to be no reviews on it...but the 64MB cache is going to offer no performance increase over the 16MB cache of the 500GB Samsung Spinpoint F3...so might as well save a few £s and get the F3...

WD 640gb blakc drives are great, but I would get the Crucial C300 64gb for the best performance.

what does the cache do thought it was like a buffer????? and then would help a lot with read write?
