Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse 1.1
Got suspended the last time I posted a link to a picture, where to buy it, so look it up yourself.
12 quid, perfect size, perfect shape. Haven;t played on PC for ages but when I do, I'm always top of the scoreboards, expensive, ultra high dpi mice are a swizz.
I've owned two MX518 (good mouse, a bit old now though), I currently own a much newer mouse Steel Series Xai and much prefer it, simple look but packed full of non useless features for a change, ok the LCD screen might be fancy but I actually do use it in game when switch between sniping modes, or speed boost in tanks etc.
an MX revolution but a little lighter and adjustable dpi settings (but it only needs that because some games have horrible variations in sensitivity with vehicles/guns etc)
Best i've ever had was the microsoft generic optical mouse (the one with buttons on either side). It was simple, reliable and comfortable, everything you need for a gaming mouse and it kept me in high level league play for two years.
I then fell into the 'more expensive = bettar!' trap and forked out for a razer mouse when my microsoft one died. It's all well and good but it's no better than the microsoft one, cost three times as much and had a couple of driver bugs for the best part of 2 years.
The best mouse I've ever had was an MS wheel mouse. Really small, really light, perfect for the claw grip. The I did the same as Streeteh and went "OMG actual gaming mice, they must be better!"
